A First from Tezmaksan: Accredited Metrology and Quality Control Laboratory

Tezmaksan, which has brought firsts and innovations to Turkey's machining industry, has established an accredited Metrology Quality Control Laboratory with a USD 1 million investment at the Sivas Mustafa Aydoğdu Production Centre, which began operations this year.
With the laboratory holding the distinction of being a regional first, Tezmaksan will secure the quality of its own products while also providing manufacturers access to quality and reliable testing processes. The laboratory aims to offer high-precision measurement and testing capabilities to industrial facilities in Sivas and the surrounding region, with quality control needs to be met on-site.
Tezmaksan, which provides solutions for today's and tomorrow's competitive industrial production through technologies that add value to its sector, has signed off on another investment. In this regard, at the Sivas Mustafa Aydoğdu Production Centre, designed in compliance with Industry 4.0 and the dark factory concept, the company equipped with precision technological measurement instruments has brought the Metrology Quality Control (Accredited) Laboratory into operation. The laboratory, established with a USD 1 million investment, will increase operational efficiency by comprehensively analyzing the dimensional accuracy, surface quality and tolerances of every component produced.
Quality becomes more sustainable through high precision and accreditation standards
Noting that the laboratory will provide quality measurement and testing services to industrial facilities in the region while meeting its own production requirements, Tezmaksan Robot Technologies General Manager Serhat Volkan Yılmaz stated, "We have equipped our laboratory, which will operate with accredited quality laboratory status, with advanced precision measurement instruments. Thanks to the advanced technological measurement equipment used, we are able to comprehensively analyze the dimensional accuracy, surface quality and tolerances of every component produced. This process not only increases product quality; by detecting potential errors at an early stage, it also increases our production efficiency. This laboratory is of great importance to our sector because measurement services at high precision and accreditation standards are critical to making quality sustainable. Particularly in automation and CNC machine manufacturing, the dimensional accuracy of components directly affects the performance of the final product."
Will provide regional industry with speed, quality and cost advantage
Noting that a metrology and quality control laboratory of this scale in Sivas is the region's first, Yılmaz continued, "This laboratory will meet the region's quality control needs on-site. This way, companies will be able to receive this service in their own region without having to travel to other cities for quality and certification processes. This will provide regional industry with speed, quality and cost advantage. As an accredited quality control laboratory, we aim to provide our industry with access to fast and reliable quality control processes. This will contribute to industrial companies raising product quality, reducing import dependence and increasing their competitive strength."
