Takeda Appoints New Human Resources Director

Gülşah Alakuş, Takeda Turkey's new Human Resources Director, will lead human resources processes with 26 years of experience.
Gülşah Alakuş joined the successful team at Takeda Turkey, which brings innovative treatment methods developed by Takeda at a global level to patients in Turkey.
Gülşah Alakuş began her career in 1999 at Turkcell as a Human Resources Specialist, and transferred to Digiturk the same year, where she served as Human Resources Manager until 2007. She started her career in the pharmaceutical industry in 2007 at Wyeth, and subsequently held various positions in human resources processes at Pfizer, Polpharma and Alexion. Specializing in areas such as local management of global organizations' human resources processes, regional management, change management and culture initiatives, Alakuş led human resources as well as Corporate Communications processes during her career at Alexion Turkey. She transferred to Takeda in 2023 and assumed regional management responsibility in Takeda's human resources function, developing human resources strategies for Kazakhstan, Russia, Belarus and Turkey. As of July, Alakuş was appointed to the position of Human Resources Director at Takeda Turkey.
Gülşah Alakuş graduated from the Guidance and Psychological Counseling department at Istanbul University and completed her master's degree in MBA at London School of Economics and Political Science. She continued her education and professional development by completing executive coaching, team coaching and Gestalt coaching programs from the Academy of Executive Coaching, and earned an accredited coaching credential from the EMCC Association in the executive coaching field.
