New Executive Board Chairman for Türk Henkel

Güray Yıldız has been appointed to the position of Chief Executive Officer at Türk Henkel. In addition to his role as General Manager of Laundry and Home Care at Türk Henkel, which he has held since 1 January 2018, Güray Yıldız will also serve as Chief Executive Officer of Türk Henkel. Yıldız took over the new position from Hasan Alemdar, who had held the role for 9.5 years, effective 1 July 2021. Hasan Alemdar will continue his career as Vice President responsible for Henkel Beauty Care Middle East and Africa region at the company's Dubai Regional Center. [caption id="attachment_126228" align="aligncenter"] Güray Yıldız[/caption] Güray Yıldız graduated from the Department of Political Science and Public Administration at Middle East Technical University and began his FMCG (fast-moving consumer goods) career in 1997. He joined Henkel in 1999 as Chain Store Representative for Türk Henkel Laundry and Home Care. Between 1999 and 2006, he held management positions in Sales, Commercial Marketing and Category Management at Türk Henkel. He subsequently served for one year as International Brand Manager at Henkel Central and Eastern Europe region in Vienna. Between 2008 and 2010, he worked as Traditional Channel and Field Sales Manager for Turkey. In 2011, he became Sales Director of Türk Henkel Laundry and Home Care. Starting in 2014, Yıldız served as General Manager of Henkel Hungary Laundry and Home Care, and was appointed to the same position at Türk Henkel in 2018. Effective 1 July 2021, Güray Yıldız will continue his career at Türk Henkel as both Chief Executive Officer and General Manager of Laundry and Home Care. Güray Yıldız is fluent in English and German, is married and has two children.
