Ömür Mangaloğlu Appointed General Manager of Takeda Turkey

Ömür Mangaloğlu, who has held the position of Director of Takeda Turkey's Hematology Business Unit since 2019, became the new General Manager of Takeda Turkey. Şeyda Atadan Memiş, who has been serving as General Manager of Takeda Turkey for approximately three years, has been one of the important players in the Turkish pharmaceutical sector for 13 years. Following her appointment as General Manager of the United Kingdom and Ireland Country Group, she handed over her position to her colleague Ömür Mangaloğlu. Takeda Turkey's new leader Ömür Mangaloğlu graduated from Istanbul Technical University's Industrial Engineering department in 1996 and completed his master's degree in 1998 at University of Nevada Las Vegas. Mangaloğlu began his healthcare sector career in 2001 at Eczacıbaşı-Baxter and led the PD Home Therapy team at Eczacıbaşı-Baxter between 2001 and 2006. Between 2006 and 2012, he served as Country Operations Manager at RTS Renal Therapy Services, and between 2013 and 2016 as Business Excellence Manager at Eczacıbaşı-Baxter and Eczacıbaşı-Baxalta. Following the Shire Baxalta merger, Mangaloğlu was appointed as Director of the Genetic Diseases Business Unit at Shire in 2016. After Takeda's acquisition of Shire in 2019, he took over the position of Director of Takeda Turkey's Hematology Business Unit. After serving in this position for three years, Ömür Mangaloğlu was appointed as General Manager of Takeda Turkey as of August 2022.

Expressing his excitement about his new role, Ömür Mangaloğlu continued his remarks as follows:
