Under the appointments, Elif Aydın has been named Director of Prescription Medicines Business Unit, while Serkan Binici has become Director of Human Resources and Organization.
Elif Aydın Becomes Director of Prescription Medicines Business Unit
Elif Aydın, who graduated from Boğaziçi University Department of Molecular Biology and Genetics in 1998, began her professional career at Deva Holding as a Product Manager. Between 1999-2001, Aydın served as Product Manager at Boehringer Inghelheim, and spent 10 years at Abdi İbrahim holding the positions of Senior Product Manager, Cardiovascular Business Unit Manager, Antibiotic and Analgesic Products Business Unit Manager, and Central Nervous System Business Unit Manager respectively. Between 2012-2015, she provided consulting support through Ekser Consulting firm as a senior management coach and trainer to numerous companies from various sectors. She also served as Marketing and Communications Director at Veni Vidi Eye Health Group during 2012-2013. Subsequently, between 2015-2017, Aydın worked as Chronic and Acute Markets Business Unit Manager at İlko İlaç, and before joining Sandoz, she last held the positions of National Sales Manager and National Marketing Leader respectively at Nutricia, a Danone subsidiary, between 2017-2022. Meanwhile, Serkan Binici, who served as Senior Human Resources & Organization Manager at Novartis, has been appointed Director of Human Resources and Organization at Sandoz Türkiye as a member of the management team. Binici, who graduated from Eastern Mediterranean University Department of Tourism and Hotel Management in 1995, completed his MBA at Koç University. He began his Human Resources career at Swiss Otel, followed by positions at Ritz Carlton and Koç Sistem. Joining Novartis Türkiye in 2005 as Human Resources Group Manager, Binici assumed the role of Talent Management Manager during this period and provided support to Leadership Development Programs and Culture and Talent Management Programs. Subsequently, he took on positions as Turkey Country Compensation & Benefits Manager and iCEE Cluster Head, managing compensation and benefits processes and projects for multiple countries. Additionally, he managed the compensation process for 14 countries within the iCEE Cluster in Compensation & Benefits. From 2018 to present, in his position as Senior Human Resources & Organization Manager in Turkey, Binici has played a critical role in Pharma Türkiye's cultural journey and organizational transformation.Advertisement
