Mondelēz International Appoints Senior Executive in Europe Mondelēz International Türkiye, the world's leading snacking company, has announced a senior appointment for Europe. Gökhan Atasoy, Senior Finance Manager at Mondelēz International Türkiye, will take up his position as Commercial Finance Director for Germany, Austria and Switzerland starting in April. Gökhan Atasoy joined the Mondelēz International Türkiye family in 2012 and began working as Senior Commercial and Category Finance Manager in 2020. In this role, Atasoy played a key part in strategic planning and performance management across all categories and channels for the Turkey business unit. As of April 2022, Atasoy will serve as Commercial Finance Director for Germany, Austria and Switzerland, among Europe's most important markets.

Atasoy joined the Mondelēz International Türkiye family as Financial Reporting Manager and was assigned to manage the financial processes of the SAP implementation project carried out under the Mondelēz Global Transformation Programme in 2013. Over the years, Atasoy held successive positions at Mondelēz Türkiye as Financial Control Manager, Country Finance Project Manager responsible for Transformation Projects, EEMA Region Project Manager, and Turkey Senior Financial Control Manager.

Atasoy Held Multiple Senior Positions at Mondelēz

In 2019, Atasoy was appointed Senior Category Finance (FP&A) Manager for Gum & Candy in the Eastern Europe region, taking responsibility for strategic planning and monitoring in Turkey, Russia and the Eurasian countries. As of April 2022, Atasoy will assume the position of Commercial Finance Director for Germany, Austria and Switzerland. Atasoy graduated from Yıldız Teknik Üniversitesi in 2008 with a dual-major degree in Economics and Political Science and International Relations.
