New CEO of Kerevitaş: Mert Altınkılınç

Mert Altınkılınç Named New CEO of Kerevitaş Mert Altınkılınç has been appointed Chief Executive Officer of Kerevitaş, the leading company in Turkey's frozen food, canned goods and margarine markets. Kerevitaş, one of Yıldız Holding's largest business units in Turkey after Ülker, has made senior management appointments at Besler and Marsa. Mert Altınkılınç, who previously served as President of pladis Middle East and North Africa, will take on the role of CEO of Kerevitaş & Besler and Marsa, which achieved consolidated revenue of TRY 4.9 billion in 2021. Altınkılınç, who has conducted successful work at Yıldız Holding companies for 17 years, made significant contributions to pladis' strong market position and steady growth in the Middle East and North Africa region during his tenure as President. As CEO of Kerevitaş & Besler and Marsa, Altınkılınç will focus on maintaining the company's strong position in Turkish and international markets. Mert Altınkılınç completed his undergraduate education in Industrial Engineering at Dokuz Eylül University, followed by a master's degree in the same field and an MBA from the United States. Beginning his career at Yıldız Holding in 2005, Mert Altınkılınç has held management positions at the holding's domestic and international companies. From 2008 to 2010, he served as Export Manager responsible for food and private label product categories at Eksper and Teközel Gıda; from 2010 to 2011, as Sales Director responsible for international sales of private label products; from 2011 to 2014, as General Manager at Eksper and Birleşik Dış Ticaret; and from 2014 to 2016, as Vice President responsible for export and foreign distributor operations of food and snack categories under İstanbul Gıda and Eksper Gıda. From 2016 to 2020, Altınkılınç served as President of pladis Middle East, and from 2020 onwards, he held the position of President of pladis Middle East and North Africa.
