New Logistics Operations Manager Appointed at 3M

Tamer Güneş Appointed Director of Supply Chain and Logistics Operations for 3M China, Hong Kong and Taiwan Region China, Hong Kong and Taiwan Region, one of 3M's most important operational centers worldwide, will now be under the leadership of a Turkish executive. Tamer Güneş, who has spent 9 years at 3M, has been appointed Director of Supply Chain and Logistics Operations for 3M China, Hong Kong and Taiwan Region. [caption id="attachment_105322" align="aligncenter"] Tamer Güneş[/caption] Güneş joined the 3M family in 2011 as Production Manager for Turkey, and subsequently held various leadership roles including Turkey Production and Supply Chain Manager, CEEMEA Supply Chain Manager based in Switzerland, and most recently EMEA Consumer Products Group Production and Supply Chain Manager, with expanding responsibilities. Before joining 3M, Tamer Güneş worked at Unilever in Turkey for 9 years in various positions in planning and production. He completed his education at the Middle East Technical University Department of Industrial Engineering, graduating in 2001, after attending Istanbul Atatürk Science High School. In this important role, he will be responsible for Supply Chain and Logistics Operations in the China, Hong Kong and Taiwan Region and will assume his duties, which he will carry out in Shanghai, effective 1 December 2020.
