Building Fair Draws Strong Visitor Interest Over 4 Days

Held at Tüyap Fair and Congress Centre between 17-20 April, Building Fair-Turkeybuild Istanbul attracted strong visitor interest over four days. The fair hosted a total of 46,938 visitors from 125 countries, of which 6,116 were from abroad. Building Fair – Turkeybuild Istanbul welcomed 547 participants from 13 countries and 857 brands, and hosted 401 foreign buyers from 64 countries over four days. The Building Fair, held between 17-20 April, was visited by a total of 46,938 people from 125 countries, of which 6,116 were foreign visitors.

Building Fair Director Banu Keskin, commenting on the fair, said: "We are pleased that Building Fair-Turkeybuild Istanbul, opening its doors for the 46th time this year, is making significant contributions to the country's economy and to growth expectations in the construction sector in the 4.5-5.0 per cent range. In addition to the unique export opportunities we offered our participants this year, we created new business opportunities, partnerships and purchasing prospects."

Northern Cyprus, Russia and Poland had pavilions

Senior decision makers were invited to Turkey by ICA Events under the "VIP Purchasing Delegation" programme. Over four days, 401 foreign buyers from 64 countries participated in the fair. The fair hosted pavilions from Northern Cyprus, Russia and Poland, and welcomed participants from Italy, Germany, Russia, Lithuania, Slovenia, United Arab Emirates, South Korea, Poland, Austria and China. The Building Fair programme also featured 25 events over four days with more than 50 speakers. The discussions covered industry-leading topics such as architecture, innovative approaches in design and artificial intelligence, sustainability and building materials, each day addressing a different theme.

Golden Magnet Stand Design Awards found their recipients

The Golden Magnet Stand Design Award Ceremony was held at the end of the fair's second day. At the ceremony, where Retro Parke Mobilya received the Honourable Mention Award, Falcon Ağaç was awarded first place, Samet Kalıp second place and Derby Kimya third place. In the Golden Magnet Stand Design Awards, "Company Presenting Outstanding Technology Solutions at its Stand": TMS Kalıp ve İskele Sistemleri, "Company Presenting Outstanding Creative Identity Design at its Stand": Bestofis Modüler Bölme Sistemleri, "Company Presenting Outstanding Visitor Interaction at its Stand": MSA Spor ve Kent Ekipmanları, "Company Displaying its Sustainable Product with Sustainable Criteria at its Stand": NASWOOD-Nasreddin Orman Ürünleri, while the ICA Events Incentive Award went to A.T.S. Ateş Tuğla / DesignFloor-Aslan Yapı Ürünleri / WOOD- Y Uğur Ünal Orman Ürünleri.

Building Master Class featured among fair events

Building Master Class, as it has for six years, was again part of the fair events this year. Registered visitors to Building Master Class had the opportunity to visit participant stands representing different product categories within the fair area with moderators and participate in discussions related to the day's theme. At Building Tech Garage, start-ups presenting unconventional ideas to the sector had the opportunity to showcase their innovative products.

Special hall created for formwork and falsework companies

In collaboration with the Formwork and Falsework Manufacturers Association (İKSD) and ICA Build Fuarcılık A.Ş., a special hall for formwork and falsework companies was created in the fair area this year. In this special hall, which included member companies of the Formwork and Falsework Manufacturers Association, participants found the opportunity to display their products and establish new business connections.
