This feature, which eliminates difficult keypad operations, allows any section of the program to be easily viewed and monitored, while menus on other screens can be conveniently selected. Additionally, the new screens feature long-lasting durable glass construction, making daily maintenance easy. The product family also includes keyboards that can be mounted both vertically and horizontally.

The 19 inch touchscreen vertical display on Mitsubishi Electric's M800W series CNC control units features multiple windows where the screen keyboard and document viewer can be customized by machine manufacturer companies. This allows the CNC screen to be displayed in the upper section while a virtual keyboard, operator panel, document viewer or memo pad can be opened in the lower section. The M800W series control units provide a high degree of flexibility in machine operator panel design thanks to their thin design of approximately 50 mm over most of the screen area.
