Turkey's Growing Polyurethane Industry Takes the Global Stage at PUTECH EURASIA 2025

PUTECH EURASIA 2025, Turkey's most comprehensive industrial gathering for polyurethane, composites, adhesives and technical foam technologies, concluded successfully with 7,060 professional visitors from 83 countries and participation from 245 companies.

The event, organized by Artkim Fuarcılık, brought together polyurethane technologies alongside composite raw materials (Eurasian Composites Show), adhesive technologies (Adhesive Bonding Eurasia) and technical foam industry (Foam Eurasia) under a single roof, presenting an international platform reflecting the sector's comprehensive production ecosystem.

Polyurethane technologies, which provide high performance and efficiency in numerous critical industries such as automotive, white goods, construction, furniture, textiles, packaging and energy efficiency, once again showcased Turkey's rise as a strategic production force. This year, the fair's scope was further expanded and raised to global standards through sustainability, advanced materials technologies, recycling and circular economy applications.

Technical presentations and panels organized during the fair demonstrated that polyurethane is not merely a material, but an indispensable building block across numerous industries from energy technologies to healthcare, from automotive to insulation. Polyurethane solutions offering high strength, light weight, long service life and energy efficiency attracted intense interest from professionals.

Güler emphasized that the intensity of visitors from Europe, Asia, the Middle East and Africa clearly demonstrated that Turkey has become a regional production and technology center in the polyurethane industry.

Young Engineers' Racing Vehicles Generate Strong Interest
One of the standout areas this year was university engineering teams exhibiting racing vehicles they developed using polyurethane-based composite materials. Polyurethane used in the vehicle body and critical points significantly enhanced vehicle performance through its properties of light weight, form strength, impact damping and vibration reduction.

Young engineers' projects showcased polyurethane's strategic role in mobility solutions.
