Founded in 1902 and one of the world's prestigious organizations, the American Urological Association has granted the title of "Honorary Member" to 290 urologists to date. With 23,000 members, the American Urological Association is the world's largest and most established association in its field and has led the way in scientific research in urology, education, research, and the formation of health service policies for 121 years. The association, whose congresses and publications are followed most closely, holds a leading position in developing innovative, evidence-based, quality education for urologists and urological health specialists worldwide at every stage of their careers. As one of six new Honorary Members this year, Prof. Dr. Ali Rıza Kural received his certificate at the 118th Congress of the American Urological Association held in Chicago, presented by Association President Prof. Dr. Raju Thomas. Prof. Dr. Ali Rıza Kural, expressing his great joy and pride in receiving this meaningful award, made the following statements on the matter: "I owe this honor to my country, to the mentors who trained me, to my colleagues with whom I have worked, and to my family who has always supported me. From the day I started my profession, I aimed only to be a good physician and to serve my patients in the best way possible.
