Yılmaz Erceyes Appointed Deputy General Manager of Marketing at Şişecam

Yılmaz Erceyes has been appointed to the position of Assistant General Manager of Marketing at Şişecam. Erceyes, who brings extensive leadership experience in global markets, will lead the vision of connecting Şişecam's value-added products with the right customers in the right markets for a company whose products reach more than 150 countries. In his new role, he will manage the implementation of Şişecam's customer-focused strategic priorities and accelerate sustainable profitable growth.

Yılmaz Erceyes began his professional career in 2002 at Procter & Gamble in Belgium, working in engineering and process control roles. Starting in 2004, he transitioned to brand management and took on leadership positions responsible for different product groups across European countries. Joining Premier Foods in 2015, Erceyes served in Marketing and Category Director roles before being appointed Assistant General Manager responsible for Marketing and Growth in 2019. During this period, he oversaw the company's marketing, innovation, research & development, customer analytics, mergers, acquisitions and new ventures, playing a leading role in the company's 10-year strategic growth plan. Yılmaz Erceyes commenced his duties as Assistant General Manager of Marketing at Şişecam on 2 February 2026.

Yılmaz Erceyes graduated with dual degrees and top honors in both Food Engineering and Chemical Engineering from Middle East Technical University, and also studied Chemical Engineering at University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. He completed the Executive Leadership Development program at London Business School in 2015. With extensive expertise and senior-level leadership experience in marketing, sales and operations in the fast-moving consumer goods (FMCG) sector, Erceyes aims to increase the share of value-added products through customer-insight-based marketing strategies at Şişecam and accelerate sustainable profitable growth.
