World-Renowned Names in Polymer Science to Meet at International PPS Conference

The Polymer Processing Society (PPS), which keeps its finger on the pulse of the polymer industry through regional and international congresses organized in different parts of the world each year, will this year host the 35th edition of the congress. The International PPS Meeting will be held at Çeşme Radisson Blu Hotel between 26-30 May 2019 under the sponsorship of PAGEV. Renowned academics who will participate as speakers at the meeting will also provide special training to PAGEV prior to the conference. Training sessions, which will be open to plastic manufacturers, will serve as guidance in value-added production. The 35th International PPS Meeting, one of the most important organizations in the field of polymer processing, will be held in Çeşme between 26-30 May 2019 under the sponsorship of the Turkish Plastics Manufacturers Research, Development and Training Foundation (PAGEV). At the meeting, the formulation and modification of polymer systems, shaping methods, and the process from monomer through to finished commercial product for end users will be examined. Strong attendance from industry representatives is expected at the meeting, which will feature world-renowned scientists, engineers and designers as speakers.

Founded in the United States in 1985 and with an extensive network globally, Polymer Processing Society-PPS (Polymer Processing Community) is represented in Turkey by Yusuf Menceloğlu, Faculty Member of the Engineering and Natural Sciences Faculty at Sabancı University.
