MG International Fragrance Company at the Private Sector R&D and Design Centers Summit
MG International Fragrance Company (MG Gülçiçek), one of the world's leading fragrance producers, participated in the 6th Ankara Private Sector R&D and Design Centers Summit organized by the Ministry of Science, Industry and Technology. At the Summit, which was held with the participation of Minister of Science, Industry and Technology Faruk Özlü, MG Gülçiçek drew attention with nearly 20 high value-added fragrance formulations and innovative products contributing to Turkey's economy.
During the ceremony held at the Summit, MG Gülçiçek was presented with the Ministry of Science, Industry and Technology R&D Center Certificate. Minister Faruk Özlü presented the R&D Center Certificate to Hasan Çebi, Deputy General Manager responsible for Operations.
Following the ceremony, Minister Faruk Özlü visited the exhibition stands. At the MG Gülçiçek stand, Minister Özlü listened to details about fragrance production and learned about the company's projects. Minister Özlü thanked MG Gülçiçek for their contribution to the company and the economy.
MG International Fragrance Company (MG Gülçiçek), a 100 percent Turkish-owned enterprise, participated in the Ankara Private Sector R&D and Design Centers Summit, organized for the 6th time this year by the Ministry of Science, Industry and Technology on 20-21 December. MG Gülçiçek, which contributes to Turkey's economy by producing high value-added products, earned the right to receive the Ministry of Science, Industry and Technology R&D Center Certificate in May 2017, an award granted to forward-thinking companies with national objectives that organize R&D projects and have the potential to increase value added. At the ceremony held during the Summit, which was attended by Minister of Science, Industry and Technology Faruk Özlü, MG Gülçiçek's stand and products attracted attention. During the ceremony at the Summit, Minister Faruk Özlü presented the Ministry of Science, Industry and Technology R&D Center Certificate to Hasan Çebi, Deputy General Manager responsible for Operations at MG Gülçiçek. Following the ceremony, Minister Faruk Özlü visited the stands together with Ziya Altunyaldız, Chairman of the Grand National Assembly's Industry, Trade, Energy, Natural Resources, Information and Technology Commission. During Minister Özlü's visit to the MG Gülçiçek stand, he met with Senior Research Scientist Dr. Erol Gülçiçek and the team, listened to details about fragrance production, and learned about the company's projects. After reviewing MG Gülçiçek's digital presentation kit, Minister Özlü thanked MG Gülçiçek for their contributions to the company and the economy. MG Gülçiçek, which operates the world's first integrated fragrance production facility under one roof, participated in the Summit with 14 completed R&D Center projects and 11 ongoing projects.High Value-Added Fragrances Draw Interest
MG Gülçiçek, one of the world's leading fragrance producers, drew attention at the Summit's stand with high value-added fragrance products while other sector participants and visitors were informed about the fragrance industry. At the MG Gülçiçek stand, nearly 20 products and raw materials constituting product content were displayed, and fragrance samples obtained through different methods representing both the raw materials used and the formulations used in finished products were demonstrated. Fragrance compositions produced in hot processes and capable of withstanding very high temperatures drew considerable interest from visitors. Among the main sectors where fragrance products are typically used are cosmetics, personal care, hygiene products and household cleaning categories.Goal: Reach Top 10 in Global Competition
Senior Research Scientist Dr. Erol Gülçiçek at MG Gülçiçek stated that they will continue R&D investments in the coming period and plan to increase their technical capabilities and resulting sales competitiveness with global countries through R&D activities. Speaking about the products displayed at the Summit, Erol Gülçiçek said: "The products displayed here require knowledge and experience accumulated over many years to produce, which is why they have high value added.
