L'Oréal Employees Breathing Life into 6,000 Women
L'Oréal Turkey, a beauty-technology company that channels all social benefit projects to earthquake zones based on its mission to "create beauty that moves the world" and its belief in beauty's power to improve lives, continues to add to its assistance efforts day by day.
L'Oréal Turkey is connecting women in earthquake-affected areas through mobile beauty service trucks at 13 different tent cities in the name of bringing beauty and relief. Through a partnership with the Needs Map and Saadet Teacher Child Abuse Prevention Association (UCİM), the company aims to reach approximately 6,000 women in Hatay, Kahramanmaraş and Adıyaman with a mobile truck providing free beauty services to citizens in the earthquake zone.
In addition to cash and in-kind assistance for the earthquake zone, L'Oréal Turkey has taken another meaningful step to bring relief to the region. The company has launched a mobile beauty services truck and mobile children's park project to bring beauty and relief to the earthquake zone.

In the evenings, children's films are broadcast on the LED screen outside the truck and popcorn is served to the children. L'Oréal Turkey aims to bring smiles to children in the earthquake zone through the play park."Our beauty truck will be a breath of relief for both adults and children."
Commenting on the project, L'Oréal Turkey Country Manager Sinem Sandıkçı Gökçen said: "We believe that the mobile beauty services truck we are sending to the earthquake zone, built together, will be a source of hope and relief for both adults and children. From the first day of the disaster to today, we have carried out material and in-kind assistance, but it is also very important that our assistance be sustainable to help develop the region. For this initiative, we worked as one with four of our main business units to touch the lives of thousands of disaster-affected citizens. We are very grateful to the Needs Map and UCİM for being with us in this project. Within the scope of our 'Meaningful Brands Revolution', each of our brands is developing social and environmental benefit projects that both diversify and expand our area of impact. We have concentrated all our projects in the earthquake zone. Our goal is to expand our impact and move forward." "Until now we took people's breath away with beauty, now we want to bring relief through beauty." Elaborating on the origin of the #BreathingWithBeauty message, Gökçen continued: "Now it is time for all of us to take a deep breath together and turn our faces toward beauty again, to stand up again and give all our life's struggles with the strongest force, together... We owe this to future generations, to the world we live in. We know that life is a long-distance marathon where we breathe with hope for beautiful days, where beauty first brings relief and then hope, and we are working toward this."
