Küad Continues to Support the Cosmetic Scientists of the Future!

KÜAD (Cosmetics Manufacturers and Researchers Association), founded to ensure the production of high value-added cosmetic products without neglecting human and environmental health, and to give Turkey's cosmetics sector and cosmetic scientists a voice in the world, continues its work rapidly for the young manufacturers and researchers of the future.

KÜAD held the second edition of the "Küad Academy at Universities" event at Burdur Mehmet Akif Ersoy University with Mineaderm sponsorship, making a difference in university-industry cooperation efforts by organizing both an information conference and a cream-making workshop where students could gain hands-on experience.

The event, which began with opening remarks from KÜAD Board Member Fuat Arslan and KÜAD Scientific Board Member Assoc. Prof. Dr. Gökturk Avşar, continued with Prof. Dr. Fatih Mehmet Emen's presentation "Cosmetics from Past to Present" and Assoc. Prof. Dr. Aslihan Cesur Turgut's presentation "Plants Used in Cosmetics". The event continued with a "Cream-Making Workshop" sponsored by Mineaderm with the participation of 40 students, resulting in a highly productive and enjoyable event.

KÜAD, which launched the "Voice of Turkish Cosmetics" project—the first of its kind in Turkey—in recent months, presented consumers with a unique experience through this project by showing where and how the products they use are manufactured, enriched by music.

KÜAD also achieved another first in Turkey by creating a Consumer Handbook to support the safety of cosmetic products and consumer awareness. This comprehensive handbook continues to guide consumers regarding the content of cosmetic products, their safe use and potential risks.
