"Everything Related to Chemistry at This Fair" Turkey's Export Leader Chemical Industry's Largest Meeting in the EMEA Region: Turkchem Eurasia For years, the Turkchem Eurasia Fair, which has served as a meeting point for domestic and foreign industry professionals under the motto "Everything Related to Chemistry," will take place at Istanbul Fair Centre between 24-26 November 2022. The countdown has begun for Turkchem Eurasia Fair, held biennially and now ranked among the world's leading chemical industry events due to its global impact, serving as a meeting point for domestic and foreign industry professionals. Turkchem Eurasia Fair, one of the largest gatherings of Turkey's and the world's chemical industry with billions of dollars in trade volume, will be organized by Artkim Fuarcılık, which plays an important role in the growth of Turkish chemical industry through numerous national and international projects in chemicals, laboratory and technology fields. Turkchem Eurasia Fair, which will host new business connections, their development and the latest industry developments, will welcome participants and visitors at Istanbul Fair Centre between 24-26 November 2022. The fair, featuring 506 companies and representatives from 40 different countries, is expected to attract over 15,000 visitors from around the world.
Chemical sector achieves USD 25.5 billion in exports in nine months
The chemical industry, drawing attention with its rising growth momentum and export potential, supplies intermediate products and raw materials to numerous sectors alongside final products it provides in areas ranging from plastics to cosmetics, pharmaceuticals to paints and coatings, and holds an important position in the economy while contributing to the development of other industries. According to data from Turkey Exporters Assembly (TİM), Turkey's exports in September reached USD 22.6 billion, up 9.2% compared to the same period last year. The chemical sector, which was the export champion in September, recorded USD 2.9 billion in exports. The sector's first nine months of exports grew 40.2% to reach USD 25.5 billion. The chemical sector remained the leading exporting sector in September as well. With a 14.7% share of national exports, sector exports increased 28.2% compared to the previous year and amounted to USD 2.9 billion. Having become the export leader for the seventh consecutive time with September, the chemical sector recorded 40.2% growth with USD 25.5 billion in exports during the first nine months. The Buyer Delegation Program at Turkchem Eurasia Fair, which aims to increase export figures further, will offer potential buyers and participants the opportunity to conduct special B2B bilateral meetings during the fair.
