Kimpur and Ravago Petrokimya Complete First Joint Production Run
It was decided to relocate Ravago Petrokimya's polyurethane systems production to Kimpur's facilities, and it was stated that an additional 85 kT of capacity would be provided to the Kimpur Düzce Production Facility during this process. Now, with the first production carried out at the Düzce facility, this collaboration has turned into a concrete success.
Kimpur announced a major strategic partnership with Ravago Petrokimya A.Ş. last year that reverberated throughout the sector. Under this collaboration, it was decided to transfer Ravago Petrokimya's polyurethane systems production to Kimpur's facilities, and it was stated that an additional 85 kT capacity would be provided to Kimpur's Düzce Production Facility during this period. Now, with the first production carried out at the Düzce facility, this partnership has turned into a concrete success.
Initial production began with the Exproof reactor transferred from Ravago Petrokimya. Within the scope of trial production, KIMrigid® Sandwich Panel System and KIMcool® Refrigerator System were produced and successfully completed. Moreover, improvements made to reactor line diameters and pump capacities made production processes faster and more efficient. With this step, Kimpur has successfully taken over Ravago Petrokimya's production operations.
Kimpur's global position strengthening further
Kimpur, ranked 188th among Turkey's largest industrial enterprises and exporting to more than 55 countries across 5 continents, continues to strengthen its position as the region's largest polyurethane systems house with its Gebze Production Facility with 141 thousand tons capacity, Düzce Production Facility reaching 115 thousand tons capacity, and its 25 thousand tons capacity affiliated company in Europe.
This increase in production capacity achieved in a short period strengthens Kimpur's position in both local and global markets, while also contributing to the company's achievement of its target to rank among the top 10 polyurethane systems houses worldwide.
