Kastamonu Entegre Receives Export Award

Kastamonu Entegre, the leader of the wood-based panel industry, has been given the Top Exporting Company award by the Mediterranean Furniture, Paper and Forest Products Exporters' Association (AKAMİB). The award, presented at a ceremony held by AKAMİB in Kayseri, confirmed at the regional level the success of Kastamonu Entegre, which is Turkey's export champion in the "Furniture, Paper and Forest Products" category.

Kastamonu Entegre, a leader in the wood-based panel sector, has received the award for highest export volume from the Mediterranean Furniture, Paper and Forest Products Exporters Association (AKAMİB). The award, presented at a ceremony organized by AKAMİB in Kayseri, has also confirmed Kastamonu Entegre's success at the regional level as Turkey's export champion in "Furniture, Paper and Forest Products".

Kastamonu Entegre, a global player in the wood-based panel sector, with production facilities at 5 locations across the country—Kastamonu, Gebze, Balıkesir, Samsun and Adana—and a 30% market share, has been recognized by the Mediterranean Furniture, Paper and Forest Products Exporters Association (AKAMİB), one of the sector's leading unions, with the award for highest export volume. At the 2025 Export Champions Award Ceremony held in Kayseri on Friday, 5 February, Hakan Gündem, Boards Export Director, accepted the award on behalf of Kastamonu Entegre.

Commenting on the award, Hakan Gündem stated: "As Kastamonu Entegre, we continue to advance our export network spanning 100 countries and our foreign sales volume year on year. A global powerhouse in the sector

Kastamonu Entegre, which alone produces 8% of global laminate parquet production and has consolidated revenues of USD 1.7 billion, is extending its strength to global markets as Europe's third and the world's fourth largest MDF and particleboard producer.

The company, which has reached annual production capacity of more than 7 million cubic metres across six countries and five different production locations in Turkey, has one of the sector's most extensive production networks through its integrated investments in markets such as Italy, Russia and Romania. Operating today with an export network reaching 100 countries across six continents, Kastamonu Entegre, a 100% Turkish capital company, was also the sector's export champion according to TİM 2024 data.
