Major Sacrifice from Johnson & Johnson Employees

Johnson & Johnson employees pedaled for children affected by disasters around the world. The team pedaling to support the long-term development needs of children affected by natural disasters in Turkey, Syria and Libya, and children in Morocco, raised EUR 200,000 to be donated to UNICEF. Held for the 6th time this year, the "Pedaling for Children" event saw all Johnson & Johnson employees across Europe, the Middle East and Africa (and beyond) join forces with families and friends to pedal at events organized in their regions or locally. On 7 October, Johnson & Johnson Turkey employees organized a cycling event in Beykoz Forests with more than 100 employees and their families, as well as UNICEF representatives in attendance. As part of Johnson & Johnson's commitment to UNICEF's support for children, the Johnson & Johnson Foundation (Janssen EMEA CSR Fund) will donate a total of EUR 200,000 to UNICEF to support approximately 4,000 children and their families affected by natural disasters in Turkey, Syria and Libya, and to support the long-term development needs of children in Morocco. The global event saw Johnson & Johnson employees pedal for children, reaching the highest participation to date with more than 3,500 participants. All kilometers covered were recorded in an application, and the distances covered were added to the donations collected by all participants. A check presentation ceremony was held at Johnson & Johnson's Istanbul office, where the donation was presented to UNICEF representatives.
