İEİS Discover the Industry Internship Program Directs Students to the Sector

The Pharmaceutical Industry Employers' Union (İEİS) has launched the "İEİS Discover the Industry Internship Programme" to introduce students interested in the pharmaceutical industry and guide them toward their career goals. Through this programme, İEİS aims to direct talented young people to the sector and provide a solution to the industry's need for qualified workforce. The project, coordinated by İEİS, was launched in March with the support of universities. The programme gives undergraduate and associate degree students the opportunity to put theoretical knowledge taught at universities and vocational colleges into practice through short and long-term internships in the pharmaceutical industry and to gain work experience. Through the undergraduate internship programme, the aim is to reach students studying in departments such as pharmacy, chemistry, chemical engineering, biotechnology, biology and genetics. The associate degree internship programme will reach students in pharmaceutical-related departments at vocational colleges. Within the scope of the programme, applications are accepted through an integrated human resources software platform in the digital environment. After students complete the internship application form, they are asked to record and upload video responses to predetermined questions. The applications received are reviewed by İEİS member pharmaceutical companies participating in the programme, and subsequently selected candidates are contacted.
