HEKTAŞ, one of Turkey's leading agricultural companies, enters 2026 with strong growth expectations driven by improved climate conditions, recovery in water resources, and strategic transformation steps implemented in recent years. HEKTAŞ General Manager Enis Emre Terzi made assessments regarding both the outlook for Turkish agriculture and the company's long-term growth strategies.
Terzi noted that a more positive picture has emerged in the agricultural sector following recent drought and climate-related challenges, stating that increased precipitation and higher dam fill rates provide an important advantage for production.
"We are entering a new growth period in agriculture"
Enis Emre Terzi, emphasizing that HEKTAŞ has successfully carried out a transformation process prioritizing financial sustainability, said:
"Over the past two years, we have taken significant steps to strengthen our financial structure. In addition, improved climate conditions, fuller dams, and fewer natural disasters negatively affecting production have created a positive outlook for the agricultural sector. For this reason, we believe 2026 will be a growth year for both Turkish agriculture and HEKTAŞ."
Terzi noted that while maintaining their leading position in plant protection, they also aim for growth in seeds and biostimulant categories, stating that the company is focused on expanding operations to culturally and geographically close markets.

Central Asia and Africa as new growth routes
Noting that creating a stronger presence in international markets is at the center of HEKTAŞ's long-term growth strategy, Terzi stated that Central Asia and Africa present significant opportunities for the company.
Terzi made the following assessment:
"Over the next 10-year period, we aim to expand the business lines where we are strong to Central Asian and African markets. In addition to our expertise in plant protection, we will focus on three core business areas: liquid biostimulants, plant growth regulators, and seeds. In the coming period, we will direct our energy and investments primarily toward these areas."
Tashkent investment to serve as regional hub
Terzi noted that HEKTAŞ's investment in Tashkent, the capital of Uzbekistan, is an important part of their regional growth strategy, stating that the facility is planned to be completed in 2027.
Terzi emphasized that the investment is not limited to the Uzbek market alone, saying:
"Even before completing our Tashkent investment, we aim to reach a stronger position in the region through active export and sales activities. Thanks to Uzbekistan's geopolitical location, this facility will serve as a strategic center not only for the local market but for all Central Asian countries."
"We are carrying our 70-year experience into the future"
Terzi, noting that HEKTAŞ, which is celebrating its 70th anniversary this year, has gone through an important transformation process alongside its long-standing heritage, described the company's future vision in these words:
"By drawing on the strength of our 70 years of experience, we combine the energy of our young and dynamic team. With the trust placed in the HEKTAŞ brand, investments made by anticipating future needs, and our expert human resources, we continue to grow. We are working with determination to transform our strong past into a strong future."
Terzi noted that the agricultural sector requires a long-term perspective, adding that investors and stakeholders should continue to trust HEKTAŞ's growth strategy.
