Led by architect Emre Arslan, GOOA Architects has signed off on numerous architectural and interior design projects of various typologies and scales at national and international level, serving as Turkey partner for major international architectural firms on significant projects. Having designed for many different sectors, GOOA Architects has gained recognition both domestically and internationally through projects such as Epique Island and Kaplankaya in the hospitality sector. GOOA Architects serves as Turkey partner for global architecture firms, in addition to numerous national and international projects it has designed and implemented in Turkey and abroad. GOOA Architects carries out collaborations with international architecture offices on several important projects where concepts are prepared abroad and implemented in Turkey. The firm takes on tasks such as maintaining fidelity to adopted concept decisions, ensuring coordination with other engineering groups, preparing implementation projects, conducting detailed designs, preparing all fabrication drawings and coordinating with the site. During these processes, continuous coordination with the relevant architecture offices is among the firm's primary concerns. The Epique Island and Kaplankaya projects are exemplary of GOOA Architects' collaborative work on the international stage. The Kaplankaya project, resulting from collaboration with OAB (Office Of Architecture in Barcelona), an architecture firm that has signed off on important projects of various typologies in Spain, operates as a health resort designed in harmony with the topography in Bodrum. The award-winning project, containing 152 villas of different types and sizes, coastal structures and 76 rooms, came to life through GOOA Architects' implementation and detailed design work. Epique Island, resulting from collaboration with SAOTA, an architecture office based in South Africa with design expertise in many different fields, is a highly compact project containing 75 villas of different scales and types, as well as supporting structures such as a restaurant and kids club. The implementation and detailed design work for the Epique Island project, as in the Kaplankaya project, bears the signature of GOOA Architects. Both projects are characterized by gaining recognition both nationally and internationally. In its collaborations with international firms, GOOA Architects prepares the necessary implementation projects suited to concept projects, shares proposal details for encountered problems with the relevant offices and, once a joint decision is reached, prepares detailed projects and ensures proper site implementation of the projects. During this collaboration process, intense communication and coordination takes place between GOOA Architects and international firms. Thanks to GOOA Architects' command of detailed projects including these strong coordination and communication capabilities, the founding architect Emre Arslan's previous international experience, and the firm's experience with large-scale projects, GOOA Architects ranks among the top firms sought by international firms for collaboration on overseas projects. Collaborations with architecture offices that have signed off on internationally branded projects provide GOOA Architects with experience in evaluating projects from different perspectives and observing different design approaches, contributing to the firm's ability to sign off on diverse and varied designs.
