Filli Boya's Gündem Sohbetleri Series Makes Its Latest Stop in Diyarbakır

Nippon Paint - Betek, one of Turkey's leading paints and thermal insulation companies, continued its "Current Topics Conversations with Filli Paint" meetings in Diyarbakır to strengthen information sharing with business partners. The company shared both its assessments regarding Turkey's economy and its growth and investment strategies in Anatolia during the event.

The meeting held in Diyarbakır, an important industrial and commercial center in Southeast Anatolia, covered building safety, energy efficiency, sustainable urbanization and regional development. The organization, attended by representatives from construction and business sectors, also evaluated forecasts concerning the industry's future.

"Strengthening Our Global Experience with Local Business Partnerships"
Speaking at the event, Nippon Paint - Betek Turkey General Director Hasan Gökhan Güner drew attention to Anatolia's importance in the company's growth strategy. Noting that the business partnership with local production partner İzoset in Diyarbakır increased regional production and service capacity, Güner said they aimed to develop new local business partnerships across Turkey.

Güner stated that following the company's production facilities in Gebze, Balıkesir and Kayseri, the regional production model in Diyarbakır created a structure closer to the market, more agile and more flexible.

Recovery Expectations in Construction and Paints Sectors
Noting that the construction sector continues to be an important growth driver in Turkey's economy, Güner recorded that recovery signals have begun appearing in the paints sector, which contracted over the past two years.

Expressing expectations of activity in real estate investments particularly in the coming period, Güner emphasized that urban transformation projects and safe building investments would create significant opportunities for the sector.

Referring also to the new water-based paint facility commissioned by the company in Gebze, Güner said the investment, which has annual production capacity of 225,000 tonnes, would increase production flexibility while accelerating new product development processes.

Global R&D Power Transferred to Local Market
Arzu Uludağ, Assistant General Director responsible for Marketing at Nippon Paint - Betek, drew attention to the strong market position of Filli Paint and Dalmacyalı brands in the sector.

Noting that following their inclusion in the Nippon Paint Group in 2019 they benefited more effectively from the global technology and innovation network, Uludağ stated they combined the R&D center operating in Gebze's local knowledge base with the group's international expertise.

Next-Generation Exterior Façade Paint and Thermal Insulation Solutions Introduced
The meeting also introduced Nucleus, a next-generation exterior façade paint developed to counter the effects of climate change on buildings. The product, distinguished by advanced water repellency, breathability and self-cleaning properties, extends building lifespan while contributing to sustainable urbanization.

The event also shared the Dalmacyalı brand's energy efficiency solutions. Within the scope of the updated TS 825 standard, it was emphasized that thermal insulation plays a critical role not only in reducing heating costs but also in reducing cooling expenses.

Economy and Regional Development Discussed
In the economy session of the event, journalist-author Vahap Munyar and Prof. Dr. Erhan Aslanoğlu made assessments concerning the effects of global economic developments on Turkey, the macroeconomic outlook and regional trade dynamics.
