CEVA Logistics Acquires Borusan Lojistik

CEVA Logistics, a subsidiary of the CMA CGM Group, has further strengthened its presence in Turkey by acquiring 100% of Borusan Tedarik Zinciri Çözümleri ve Teknoloji Şirketi, the legal entity to which leading local logistics company Borusan Lojistik is affiliated. All official approvals were obtained shortly before the closing of the transaction, valued at USD 383 million.

CEVA Logistics, a subsidiary of CMA CGM Group, has strengthened its presence in Turkey by acquiring 100% of Borusan Tedarik Zinciri Çözümleri ve Teknoloji Şirketi, the legal entity to which the leading domestic logistics company Borusan Lojistik belongs. All official approvals were obtained shortly before the closing of the transaction, valued at USD 383 million.

Borusan Holding, a private company, sold 69.47% of Borusan Tedarik shares, while the remaining 30.53% was held by publicly listed Borusan Yatırım. The acquisition agreement was first announced to the public on 26 April 2025. In addition to Borusan Lojistik's logistics operations, CEVA will also manage its international subsidiaries and Turkish affiliates eTA and Bukoli. Borusan Liman operations, previously operating under the Borusan Lojistik brand, will remain with Borusan Holding.

With the completion of the acquisition, CEVA will initiate the integration and brand transformation process of Borusan Lojistik to further solidify its position as the largest 3PL (third-party logistics) company in Turkey's domestic market. In contract logistics, CEVA currently manages approximately 1,190,000 square meters of warehouse space in the country. In terms of road transport, this merger represents approximately 1 million domestic FTL (full truckload) shipments annually, while Borusan Lojistik's LTL (less than truckload) operations, including European connections, will further strengthen CEVA's existing network. Through Borusan Lojistik's operations, CEVA will hold a leading position in both finished vehicle logistics and in air and sea transport.

CEVA Logistics Chief Executive Officer Mathieu Friedberg commented on the matter as follows: "Turkey's economy and domestic logistics market have a dynamic structure. Considering the country's strategic location on the corridor connecting India, the Middle East and Europe, this growth presents a wide range of opportunities for our logistics solutions at new scales and scope. Thanks to our combined operations, Turkey has become CEVA's third-largest country in terms of gross revenue."
