With 85 years of heritage, BAYEGAN operates on a global scale and ranks among Turkey's largest polymer and chemical raw material suppliers. We implemented one of the country's most comprehensive investments in the polyurethane market
By starting domestic TPU and polyester polyol production at our BYCHEM production facility, we took a significant step in the polyurethane market. This investment, carried out in a 35,000 m² production area, represents Turkey's largest capacity and domestic TPU production. With this investment, we aim to both close the current supply gap in the domestic market and target export to global markets, with priority given to Europe and the Americas. TPU products have a flexible, robust and aromatic structure, encompassing all varieties based on polyester, polyether, polycaprolactone and polycarbonate.

Our R&D centre, with an area of 3,300 m², has one of the region's most comprehensive polyurethane-focused infrastructures. Our production of our own polyester polyols provides a significant advantage in developing special formulations, while digital twin technology and artificial intelligence-supported process optimisation have improved energy efficiency and reduced production losses. Our aromatic TPU products stand out with their flexibility, durability and robustness, while designed to encompass all varieties based on polyester polyol, polyether polyol, polycaprolactone polyol and polycarbonate polyol. The production process will expand with the production of aromatic varieties in the initial phase, followed by aliphatic TPU varieties. Additionally, composite and compound versions of TPU with other polymers will be part of our portfolio; all our products will be fully compliant with REACH, RoHS, FDA, FCA and EU regulations.

We Create Solutions Suitable for Different Industries with BYFLEXX® TPU
With our umbrella brand BYFLEXX® TPU, representing BYCHEM's flexibility and engineering capability in the TPU field, we meet the needs of different industries. In the footwear and sports materials segment, we offer high wear-resistant, lightweight sole and upper surface solutions; in the automotive field, we develop special compounds with high heat resistance and enhanced conductivity. In electrical-electronic and cable applications, our halogen-free flame retardant formulations stand out, while in the textile and film area we provide breathable membranes and flexible coatings for "dri-fit" fabrics.

We invest in sustainable technologies
On our carbon-neutral roadmap, renewable energy use, heat recovery from processes and waste minimisation are top priorities. By making TPU's main components partially or fully bio-based, we have achieved over 75% bio-content ratio, our target being to reach 100%. We introduced a 100% bio-based product to our polyester polyol product range, and we also contribute to the green economy through recyclable TPU composites.

By investing in sustainable technologies, we aim to reduce our environmental impact and create long-term value in the industry. By receiving a silver medal from EcoVadis, the global sustainability assessment platform, in our first participation, we demonstrated our commitment in this area.
