Organized by ICA Events, the 19th International Cosmetics, Beauty and Hairdressing Fair – BeautyEurasia will take place at Istanbul Fair Center on 12-14 June. The fair, which will bring together professionals serving the beauty sector, is expected to welcome over 600 professional buyers from 40 countries, particularly from Europe and the Middle East, as part of the VIP invited buyer delegation programme.
Hosted 19,799 visitors from 128 countries in 2023
BeautyEurasia Fair Director Filiz Mehmedova made comments about the fair. Mehmedova stated: "BeautyEurasia, which hosts many leading cosmetics and beauty brands from around the world, last year increased visitor numbers by 14 percent compared to the previous year, welcoming a total of 19,799 visitors from 128 countries, 27 percent of whom were international. The participation rate of foreign visitors at the fair also showed a 10 percent increase in 2023 compared to the previous year."Expected participant distribution 50 percent foreign, 50 percent domestic exhibitors
Noting that the fair is facing strong demand and interest from abroad this year, Mehmedova said: "We will see an increase in the number of foreign visitors; the participant distribution we expect is 50 percent foreign, 50 percent domestic exhibitors. We will bring together over 600 professional buyers from 40 countries, particularly from Europe and the Middle East, with the exhibitors." BeautyEurasia Fair Director Filiz Mehmedova also noted that the Ministry of Commerce provides 50 percent support for exhibitors' promotional activity expenses. Mehmedova stated: "We have already completed 76 percent of our stand sales. Turkey's cosmetics product exports in 2023 reached USD 2.83 billion with a 15.5 percent increase. In 2024, the target is an increase of between 8-10 percent in cosmetics exports. As cosmetics exports gain momentum, we see that BeautyEurasia will continue this year to create new business, partnership and export opportunities for Turkey with its strong regional network. Our fair provides an effective platform for discussing global and regional development areas of the sector in Turkey and the Eurasian region and for information exchange, promoting new ideas and products."6 countries to participate as pavilions at the fair
