AUS Türkiye Wins Excellence in Transportation Award

Turkey's leading organization in intelligent transportation systems, AUS Turkey (Türkiye Akıllı Ulaşım Sistemleri Derneği), has achieved a major success on the international stage.
The "Excellence in Transportation Award" presented by the ITS Nationals Network recognized AUS Turkey as "the most active and effective AUS association" for its innovative projects, effective work, and contributions to the sector.
"This Award is Turkey's Success"
AUS Turkey Chairman Esma Dilek stated: "This major success is the result not only of AUS Turkey's efforts, but of our country's commitment to building a better future in transportation." Dilek thanked all team members, volunteers, association members, and supporters who contributed to the development of intelligent transportation systems in Turkey, adding, "This award is our collective success and motivates us toward even greater goals."
Success Celebrated in Switzerland
The award was announced at the ITS Nationals Network General Assembly gala held in Bern, Switzerland, on 13 November 2024. On behalf of AUS Turkey, Vice Chairman and ISSD Board Chairman R. Çağrı Yüzbaşıoğlu received the award.
Yüzbaşıoğlu emphasized that this award underscores Turkey's progress in intelligent transportation technologies once more on the international platform. In his remarks at the award ceremony, Yüzbaşıoğlu noted that AUS Turkey works toward making transportation safer, environmentally friendly, accessible, and efficient through the projects it develops.
Yüzbaşıoğlu pointed out that AUS Turkey has successfully attracted the attention of both Turkey and the world through projects developed in areas including traffic management, accessible transportation solutions, environmentally conscious smart city applications, and efficient public transit systems. Yüzbaşıoğlu stated: "This award has reaffirmed AUS Turkey's goal of reaching every segment of society through projects based on sustainable transportation solutions and innovative technologies."
