KTSD Board Chairman Ahmet Pura said, "The unity of thousands of manufacturers, importers and a large number of players in the sector will make a major contribution to the economy and exports."

KTSD Chairman Ahmet Pura stated, "The coordination of thousands of producers, importers and a large number of players in the sector will make a significant contribution to the economy and exports," emphasizing the importance of EU harmonization efforts.

The 12th Ordinary General Assembly Meeting of the Cosmetics and Cleaning Products Manufacturers Association (KTSD) was held on Thursday, 10 March. KTSD Chairman Ahmet Pura said, "This sector keeps things clean and creates beauty. However, our sectors, which have around 5,000 producers, exporters and importers, need the coordination of a large number of players to become stronger, more ethical and more reliable." Speaking at the Association's 12th Ordinary General Assembly, Pura said, "Our sector covers an important portion of the fast-moving consumer goods category. We are present every day, in every home, at every point of sale and with every individual. Since 2015, our turnover exceeding TRY 20 billion, our product portfolio providing trade at 230,000 sales points, our strong domestic brands spread across the entire world and our international brands that have proven their strength worldwide show growth even during periods of economic crisis." Pura continued his remarks as follows: "As a natural consequence of increasingly growing globalization and during a period when EU harmonization efforts are gaining momentum, strong cooperation and communication with authorized bodies such as AISE and Cosmetics Europe and sector associations will provide our sectors with the most conducive development environment."
