Agreements Signed for $150 Million Investment in Africa

Aksa Enerji continues to strengthen the region's energy infrastructure and play a critical role in energy supply security through power plant projects it is implementing in Africa. The company signed a financing agreement worth USD 150 million with Africa Finance Corporation (AFC), one of the continent's leading development finance institutions.

This strong partnership marks an important milestone that opens the way for Aksa Enerji's new investments in Africa while reinforcing its leadership role in the region's energy future.

The Turkey–Africa Day event, organized to promote stronger cooperation between Turkey and Africa in the areas of infrastructure, energy, finance and technology, hosted an important signing ceremony for Africa's energy future. Under the agreement signed by Aksa Enerji Board Chairman and CEO Cemil Kazancı and AFC President Samaila Zubairu, AFC will provide USD 150 million in financial support to Aksa Enerji for natural gas-fired power plant projects in the African region.
