10th International paintistanbul&Turkcoat Congress and Exhibition Sees Record Attendance
A visitor record was set at the 10th International paintistanbul & Turkcoat Congress and Exhibition, organized by the Paint Manufacturers Association (BOSAD) under the management of Chem Media on 27-28 May. The two-day congress attracted 1,653 visitors, the highest attendance figure recorded among congresses held to date. Also notable for its international participation, the congress hosted 122 visitors from 17 different countries, mainly from the EMEA Region.
The 10th International paintistanbul & Turkcoat Congress and Exhibition, organized by the Association of Paint Manufacturers (BOSAD) under Chem Media's management on 27-28 May, broke visitor records. The congress, which ran for two days, attracted 1,653 visitors. This figure has been recorded as the highest attendance at any congress held to date. The congress also stood out for its international participation, hosting 122 visitors from 17 different countries, particularly from the EMEA region.
paintistanbul & Turkcoat, the largest congress in the paints and coatings sector in the EMEA region, hosted leading companies in the paint sector, senior executives and academics specializing in their fields over two days. The opening speeches of the congress, which attracted keen interest from the first day, were delivered by paintistanbul & Turkcoat Congress Working Group Chair Hakan Ünel, Scientific Board Chair Aslı Dal, Chem Media Founding Partner and CNG Expo CEO Cengiz Yaman, BOSAD Board Chair Kenan Baytaş, İKMİB Chair Adil Pelister and TOBB Vice Chair Ali Kopuz.
The congress, held in two halls at the Crowne Plaza Istanbul-Asia Hotel Convention Center under the themes of Green Thinking and Colorful Actions, hosted a total of thirteen sessions, four commercial presentations and one panel. Participants and visitors also had the opportunity to review 100 poster presentations displayed in the poster presentation area.
The paintistanbul & Turkcoat Congress also hosted a panel titled 'Opportunities, Threats and Solutions in the Paint Sector'. On the panel, moderated by paintistanbul & Turkcoat Organizing Committee Chair Hakan Ünel, ChemQuest Group Vice Chair George Pilcher, Univar Solutions EMEA Region Senior Director of Supply and Market Development Nilay Midilli, two design Founding Partner Murat Kader and 360+ Media Interactive CEO Zehra Öney addressed the future of the paint sector.
