Suat Seven Elected as Chairman of the Board of KÜB

Concrete and Mortar Chemical Admixture Manufacturers Association (KÜB) Elects New Board of Directors at Ordinary General Assembly

Suat Seven, Country Manager of BASF Türk Kimya Construction Chemicals, was elected Chairman of the Board of KÜB. Mr. Seven takes over the position from Mr. Emrah Erti, who served as KÜB's Chairman for the past two years. The new KÜB Board of Management comprises: Osman İlgen (General Manager of Chryso-Kat Admixture Materials), Haluk Abbasoğlu (Chairman of Draco Construction Chemicals), Selman Tarmur (General Manager of Mapei Construction Chemicals) and Turgay Özkun (General Manager of Sika Construction Chemicals). Suat Seven's agenda for leading the admixture sector in the coming period will prioritize ongoing and planned initiatives jointly conducted with the European Federation of Concrete Admixture (EFCA). According to EFCA statistics for 2017, the European concrete admixture market stands at 1.3 million tons by volume. Turkey accounts for 600 thousand tons, representing 46% of this market. The Admixture Manufacturers Association (KÜB) unites concrete admixture manufacturers representing approximately 78% of Turkey's market volume and holds significant market representation power.
