Turkey's Exports Rose 46.9% in June

Turkey's exports in June increased by 46.9 percent year-on-year to USD 19.775 billion, while imports rose by 38.7 percent to USD 22.628 billion. Provisional foreign trade data for June were released in collaboration between the Turkish Statistical Institute (TÜİK) and the Ministry of Commerce. Under the General Trade System (GTS), exports in June rose by 46.9 percent compared to the same month of the previous year to USD 19.775 billion, while imports increased by 38.7 percent to USD 22.628 billion.

Excluding energy products and gold, June exports increased 48 percent, imports rose 48.9 percent

Excluding energy products and non-monetary gold, exports increased from USD 12.792 billion to USD 18.932 billion in June. Excluding energy products and non-monetary gold, imports in June rose from USD 12.536 billion to USD 18.663 billion. The foreign trade surplus excluding energy products and non-monetary gold reached USD 270 million last month. Foreign trade volume increased by 48.4 percent to USD 37.595 billion. The ratio of exports to imports excluding energy and gold was recorded at 101.4 percent in the month in question.     Source
