İKMİB Announcement on Products Subject to Prior Authorization

İKMİB; TİTCK announcement details published in the Official Gazette dated 04 March 2020, Issue 31058. Dear Member, As you know, the announcement titled "Notification on Amending the Notification Concerning Goods Prohibited from Export and Subject to Prior Approval (Exports: 96\31)" published in the Official Gazette dated 04 March 2020, Issue 31058, has made the export of the following products subject to TİTCK approval: "Protective Masks (Gas, Dust and Radioactive Dust Filtered Masks)", "Coveralls (Protective Work Clothing)", "Liquid-Impermeable Aprons (Protective Aprons Used Against Chemicals)" and "Eyeglasses (Protective Eyeglasses)" marketed under Personal Protective Equipment, as well as "Medical and Surgical Masks" and "Medical Sterile/Non-sterile Gloves" marketed under the Medical Devices Regulation. In this context, for products covered by the relevant notification for which export declarations were registered before 04.03.2020, TİTCK approval is not required. However, for export operations involving products covered by the relevant notification for which export declarations were not registered as of 04.03.2020, prior approval from TİTCK is required. To this end, TİTCK published an announcement on its website dated 05.03.2020 under the heading "Announcement Regarding Products Subject to Prior Approval", detailing the information and documents required in applications to our institution. In addition to the matters requested in this announcement, further information and documents are required in applications to TİTCK to ensure standardization.

In this context;

1. For prior approval requests regarding the export of medical-purpose masks and medical-purpose gloves placed on the market by the manufacturer under the Medical Devices Regulations, applications to our institution must be submitted using the sample petition form (Attachment 1),
2. For prior approval requests regarding the export of protective masks, coveralls, liquid-impermeable aprons and protective eyeglasses placed on the market by the manufacturer under the Personal Protective Equipment Regulation, applications to our institution must be submitted using the sample petition form (Attachment 2),
3. Applications to TİTCK must be submitted separately for each export declaration,

The relevant documents must be submitted to our institution by hand or by post until the next announcement. The information requested in the tables contained in Attachments 1/2 of the announcement must be entered into the tables completely and in full. If the application contains incomplete information, the application will not be processed. This is respectfully brought to your attention.
