Henkel Posts Sales of Around EUR 6 Billion in Third Quarter
Henkel Posts Approximately EUR 6 Billion in Q3 Growth
Henkel successfully maintained its growth momentum in the third quarter of fiscal year 2022. Group-wide sales rose nominally by 17.3% during this period, reaching EUR 5.976 billion.
The company thereby increased Group-level sales to approximately EUR 6 billion. This increase was described as the highest level for quarterly sales of all time.
Henkel Chief Executive Officer Carsten Knobel stated: "In a market environment that continues to be extraordinarily challenging, we have continued to execute our strategy and achieved clear double-digit sales growth. It is particularly gratifying that all business units and regions, especially the Adhesive Technologies business unit in the third quarter, contributed to this strong business performance with double-digit sales growth."
Knobel continued: "The double-digit sales growth in the third quarter is yet another proof of the strength of our strong and balanced portfolio of successful brands and innovative technologies. In addition, we have continuously advanced the implementation of our portfolio optimization measures, maintained our disciplined financial management, and worked on further productivity improvements.
At the same time, we are ahead of schedule in the program we have planned to implement new structures while combining our two consumer business units. This strong performance is a success of our global team, which plays a critical role through its extraordinary commitment to Henkel's long-term success in such challenging times."
Henkel's double-digit sales growth in the third quarter was realized particularly through the contribution of the Adhesive Technologies business unit. All business areas recorded double-digit or significant organic sales growth.
The Beauty Care business unit achieved positive organic sales growth in the third quarter despite implementing announced portfolio measures. Both the Professional and Consumer segments contributed to this performance.
The Laundry and Home Care business unit achieved significant organic sales growth, particularly driven by growth in the Laundry Care segment.
