ELIX Polymers Publishes 2017 Sustainability Report, Highlighting Human Capital as Key to Its Success

ELIX Polymers, a thermoplastics materials producer located in Polígono Sur in Tarragona, has released its Sustainability Report aimed at demonstrating to stakeholders the company's commitment to transparency and ensuring clear understanding of its activities and information related to the 2017 tax year. As a company in the chemical sector, through its operations and specific data, this document reflects ELIX's commitment to sustainability and transparency and its responsibility towards stakeholder groups. During the presentation of the 2017 report, ELIX Polymers Chief Executive Officer Wolfgang Doering said: "Thanks to our team of professionals' commitment to management focused on our customers' needs and effective management of the company's financial resources, ELIX Polymers has become a leading thermoplastics producer. In 2017, we implemented a strategy alignment and individual participation project within the company that we named 'Management by Mission.' Through this project, we established a new overall mission for the company and linked this mission to our employees' commitment and each department's objectives. This project strengthened unity between departments and teams and enabled more consistent communication. Additionally, we promoted a leadership based on an understanding of 'sense of duty' that reinforces a sense of belonging to ELIX and contributes to achieving company objectives through individual contributions."
