Innofix® Technology in Hot Melt Adhesive Packaging

In hot melt adhesive applications where speed, efficiency and performance are paramount, Innofix® technology prevents production stoppages caused by adhesive-sourced carbonization and contamination on production lines. Additionally, with its easy-melting and low-temperature application properties, it contributes to energy savings and sustainability. Pressure-sensitive hot melt adhesives used primarily in applications such as baby diapers, sanitary pads, tapes and labels benefit from numerous advantages through this innovative packaging technology. In Innofix® technology, spherical pressure-sensitive adhesives in granular form, approximately 2-5 mm in size, are brought together with the aid of a mold. Subsequently, they are coated with another adhesive having the same properties but without adhesive characteristics (less than 0.5% by weight). In this way, the film surrounding the adhesive in conventional production technologies is eliminated; 100% hot melt is used. In addition to Innofix® technology's contribution to sustainable production when used with 20, it also helps eliminate negative factors such as filter clogging due to carbonization caused by the film around the hot melt.

Innofix® Advantages

Since adhesives produced with Innofix® technology are not film-coated, carbonization caused by the film is not observed in adhesive tanks. Thus, small film particles resulting from combustion do not cause clogging of filters and nozzles. Filter maintenance frequency is reduced by 30%. Costs arising during maintenance such as filter replacement, tank cleaning or coating replacement are reduced.
