Eczacıbaşı Sağlık's Meaningful Contribution to World Diabetes Day

Eczacıbaşı İlaç Pazarlama and Evital launched a comprehensive awareness campaign and health support program on 14 November, World Diabetes Day, to increase public awareness of the disease and create consciousness among employees.

The "Living Well with Diabetes Program," implemented in collaboration with Turkish Diabetes Society, Diabetes Foundation of Turkey, Association of Diabetes Nurses, and Association of Diabetes Dietitians, aims to provide scientific information and psychological support to Eczacıbaşı employees who live with diabetes or have family members with the disease. The program also stands out as an 8-week free development process designed to help participants acquire daily-life-adaptable lifestyle habits.

Scientific Approach Combined with Digital Convenience
Within the program, participants join interactive sessions with expert healthcare professionals to access life-supporting content such as healthy nutrition, physical activity, exercise and breathing exercises. Employees also receive psychological counseling and motivational support while accessing customized digital educational materials through Evital, the remote healthcare service platform of Eczacıbaşı Community. This collaboration strengthens both physical and psychological health of employees while demonstrating an effective example of inter-institutional solidarity. 

World Diabetes Day awareness brought to the sports arena
As part of World Diabetes Day, efforts to increase public awareness of the disease were brought to the sports arena this year. During the Eczacıbaşı Dynavit – Fenerbahçe volleyball match played on Sunday, 16 November, a special awareness message for World Diabetes Day was delivered. Eczacıbaşı employees in the stands wore specially prepared awareness t-shirts to show support for diabetes awareness.
