İKMİB Chairman Adil Pelister Issues Statement on "Reference Price System" Burden on Exporters

Adil Pelister: "The 'Reference Price System' that our exporters faced when importing raw materials for production had not been updated recently, placing an extra cost burden on our exporters. As İKMİB, we engaged with the Ministry of Trade to resolve this issue experienced by our members. As we promised our members, we followed up on this matter and brought the problem to a solution. The 'Reference Price System' issue was resolved by the Ministry of Trade through updating the prices. On behalf of our exporters, we extend our thanks to Minister of Trade Ruhsar Pekcan, Deputy Minister Rıza Tuna Turagay, and the valuable officials of our Ministry for providing a solution to our request." he said.
