"Strong performance despite challenging conditions"
Henkel CEO Carsten Knobel noted that the company achieved important targets throughout the year and continued its transformation process.
Knobel stated, "We have successfully advanced Henkel despite ongoing challenging economic conditions. We achieved organic sales growth and significantly increased profitability. In the last three months alone, we signed acquisition agreements totaling approximately EUR 1.2 billion in sales volume."

Strategic portfolio management and acquisitions
Henkel continued its active portfolio management strategy throughout 2025, with certain operations divested and growth areas strengthened through new acquisitions.
As part of the company's growth strategy, an agreement was reached for the acquisition of ATP Adhesive Systems AG, and approval was granted in February 2026 for the takeover of Stahl Group. An acquisition agreement was also signed for "Not Your Mother's," a North America-based hair care brand. Upon completion of these transactions, approximately EUR 1.2 billion in additional sales volume is expected to be generated, and the Adhesive Technologies and Consumer Brands business units are set to be strengthened.
Innovation and R&D investments
Henkel continued its investment in innovation and R&D in 2025. The Schwarzkopf brand's new hair color "Creme Supreme" stood out with its formula that strengthens hair structure through micro-bonding technology.
The company consolidated its hair care R&D, marketing, and training activities under the "House of Hair" umbrella in Hamburg, Germany, bringing together more than 300 specialists in a single center.
On the Adhesive Technologies side, following the "Inspiration Center" network in Düsseldorf, Mumbai, and New Jersey, USA, a new center was opened in Shanghai in 2025 with a EUR 60 million investment.

Digitalization and artificial intelligence applications
Henkel continued integrating digital transformation and artificial intelligence technologies into production and marketing processes. In 2025, the company broadcast its first AI-powered TV commercial in Germany and began actively using AI technology in R&D and production processes.
AI-supported simulations in battery production and adhesive technologies and new solutions have accelerated development processes and reduced costs.
150-year journey
Henkel CEO Carsten Knobel recalled that the company will celebrate its 150th anniversary in 2026, stating, "We take pride in our past, but this is not to rest on our laurels, but rather to motivate us to prepare more strongly for the future."
Knobel summed up the company's vision with the statement, "We pioneered goodness for future generations."
