Alışan Den Hartogh Raises Hygiene Standards with Dedicated Food-Grade Washing Line

Alışan Den Hartogh entered service in 2005 as Turkey's first facility to pass CEFIC (European Chemical Manufacturers Association) and SQAS inspections and to issue ECD certificates for tank and tank container cleaning according to EFTCO regulations. With the dedicated food-grade washing line it has commissioned at its tank cleaning facility, the company is raising food safety and hygiene standards to a higher level.

The dedicated food-grade line was designed exclusively for cleaning food tanks and tankers and operates completely independently from chemical washing lines. The system is equipped with all the technical installations, equipment and instruments necessary to ensure food products are cleaned under the highest hygiene conditions.

Highest-Level Hygiene and Environmental Responsibility
In the food tank and tanker washing line:

• Emission control is provided through an activated carbon stack system,

• Hygienic air circulation is ensured through a HEPA-filtered internal ventilation system,

• Food cleaning processes are safeguarded through an independent steam system.

Furthermore, the certification and inspection procedures required for the food line are conducted with meticulous care.
