AYİDER Chairman Hakan Şişik said that as the figures demonstrate, investors with available capital and those in need of housing are turning toward residential property.

We divide consumers into two categories here. First are those with housing needs, those who do not want to pay rent and want to own their own home; second are those who view housing as an investment.

When we look at both groups, interest rates are currently running quite high. Although there has been some decline, the interest rate is above 3 percent. We can call this an unfavorable period for financed housing sales, but an opportune period for those with cash on hand.

There is both a relaxation in prices, and since the sector needs cash flow, discounts are being offered to those with liquidity, and everyone now knows that interest rates will fall and housing prices will rise after some time.

This is why people want to take advantage of this opportune period. At the same time, we should not overlook the campaigns being run by branded housing projects.

We believe this momentum in housing sales will continue. Housing sales will accelerate, especially in the final quarter. For this reason, we think the year will exceed the 1 million 300 thousand band, increasing somewhat compared to the previous year.
