Alternatif Bank Closes 2025 with Record Profit and Strong Capital Structure

Alternatif Bank announced its fourth-quarter 2025 financial results. Thanks to the high asset quality and effective balance sheet management it maintained throughout the year, the bank raised its consolidated total assets above TRY 127 billion. The total support Alternatif Bank provided to the Turkish economy through cash loans (including financial leasing receivables) and non-cash loans reached TRY 119 billion. The bank's consolidated net profit amounted to TRY 1.82 billion.
Alternatif Bank announced its fourth-quarter 2025 financial results. The bank increased its total assets to above TRY 127 billion on a consolidated basis, thanks to high asset quality maintained throughout the year and effective balance-sheet management. The total support provided to the Turkish economy by Alternatif Bank through cash (including financial lease receivables) and non-cash credit reached TRY 119 billion. The bank's consolidated net profit stood at TRY 1.82 billion.
Alternatif Bank completed the fourth quarter with a strong balance-sheet structure through its disciplined growth strategy applied throughout 2025, balanced risk management and customer-focused approach. Thanks to high asset quality maintained throughout the year and effective balance-sheet management, the bank demonstrated stable and sustainable growth performance on a consolidated basis.
In line with this performance, Alternatif Bank increased its total assets to above TRY 127 billion on a consolidated basis at the end of 2025. The total contribution provided to the Turkish economy through cash (including financial lease receivables) and non-cash credit reached TRY 119 billion. During the same period, the bank's deposit volume reached TRY 44.2 billion, while equity increased to TRY 9 billion. Maintaining a strong capital structure, Alternatif Bank's capital adequacy ratio stood at 20.76 percent. The bank completed 2025 with consolidated net profit of TRY 1.82 billion.

Ozan Kırmızı, commenting on the strategy pursued by Alternatif Bank throughout the year, said: "As Alternatif Bank, we always managed growth together with strong risk discipline in 2025. Drawing strength from our corporate culture, we supported our customers' growth journey with sustainable and solid financial solutions."
Commenting on the bank's corporate and commercial banking performance, Kırmızı made the following assessment: "By the end of 2025, we increased total cash credit by 60 percent to TRY 60.6 billion. Noting that foreign-currency cash credit reached USD 696 million with 30 percent growth, Ozan Kırmızı said strong increases were recorded in transaction volumes in line with the product-based deepening strategy and continued his remarks as follows: "We increased Supplier Financing System discount volume by 229 percent to TRY 4.7 billion and bill of exchange volume by 67 percent to TRY 46.9 billion. The foreign trade volume we intermediated grew by 20 percent to reach USD 2.5 billion. Compared to the previous year, we achieved twofold growth in CNY Swap Rediscount credit and threefold growth in post-financing and domestic LC discount transactions, which is the result of our specialization focus and competency in matching customer needs with the right solutions."

"We placed customer experience at the centre of retail and digital banking"
Evaluating the transformation in retail, private and digital banking, Ozan Kırmızı said: "We supported our corporate success with strong transformation in retail banking and digital channels. We brought our 'best customer experience' target to life through strategic investments. Thanks to our new digital customer onboarding solutions, 90 percent of individual customers we acquired during the year were obtained through digital channels. We renewed our funds transaction menu and achieved 38 percent growth in investment funds volume. With improvements in digital credit processes, we achieved 170 percent growth in individual consumer loans while raising the share of digital channels in total credit sales to 63 percent."

Emphasizing that they position Accessible Banking as a strategic commitment rather than merely a social responsibility, Ozan Kırmızı said, "We are continuing our efforts with determination to ensure every individual experiences equal and inclusive banking. In 2025, we strengthened this approach through our collaboration with FODER, accessible financial literacy activities and awareness projects. Being recognized with the 'Projects Creating Value for Society' category at the Dünya Newspaper Social Benefit Awards is a concrete manifestation of this vision. The 'Accessible Banking Through the Power of Artificial Intelligence Hackathon' which we implemented in collaboration with Microsoft Turkey became a very valuable platform that connected young people's ability to produce technology with accessible finance solutions," he said.
